Piper Curda as Mabel Tanaka

Piper Curda is already part of the Disney family, having starred on Disney Channel shows like *A.N.T. Farm *(2013–2014) and *I Didn't Do It *(2014–2015). She also appeared in the musical *Teen Beach 2* (2015) and Oscar-nominated drama *May December** *(2023).

In *Hoppers*, Curda voices Mabel, a college student and animal lover whose mind ends up inside a robotic beaver. The actress recently told Geeks of Color she and Mabel are "very much one in the same," adding that she was really drawn to Mabel's "emotional complexity."

Bobby Moynihan as King George

Moynihan now lends his voice to King George, a cheerful beaver who rules over this particular animal kingdom. According to the comedy icon, George "just wants everything to be nice and calm."

Here, Hamm voices Jerry Generazzo, the mayor of Beaverton. Speaking with *Good Morning America*, the actor said Jerry starts off as a villain before going on "an emotional journey" that teaches him "the better way to resolve conflict is to listen to the other side rather than just ignore."

Franco has plenty of voice work under his belt, including in *Hoppers *as Titus, the villainous butterfly son of the Insect Queen. He described Titus as "an unbelievable character who is completely unhinged and manic and diabolical."

Villaseñor returns to Pixar in *Hoppers*, voicing a grouchy (and ravenous) bear named Ellen.**

In *Hoppers*, Whitlock Jr. lent his voice to a goose monarch known as Bird King.

Steve Purcell as Amphibian King

Steve Purcell worked as writer and storyboard artist on numerous Pixar films, including *Brave *(2012), *Coco *(2017), and *Turning Red *(2022). He also created, wrote, and directed the *Cars *miniseries *Cars on the Road *(2022).

After leaving Pixar in 2023, Purcell returns for *Hoppers* as Amphibian King, a frog who rules over his domain.

Tom Law, who collaborated with director Daniel Chong and Moynihan on the animated series *We Bare Bears *(2015–2019), voices the drama-avoiding Tom Lizard in *Hoppers*.

The character has quickly caught attention online, something Chong told EW* *he noticed after an early test screening. Even though Tom Lizard only appeared briefly at the time, audience surveys pegged him as a favorite. "Then sure enough," Chong recalled, "he went viral like a month later on the internet."
