Pattie Boyd is throwing her support behind ex-husband Eric Clapton
The model and photographer recently shared a photo taken from the audience at one of Clapton's concerts

More than three decades after her split from Eric Clapton, Pattie Boyd is still showing the musician her support.
The iconic model and photographer, 82, recently reunited — at least from the audience — with ex-husband Clapton, 81, when she attended one of his concerts in England.
Boyd took to Instagram to share a glimpse of the moment, adding the caption, “Fabulous to see Eric in the relatively intimate G-Live venue in Guildford on Monday evening,” alongside a photo of Clapton onstage with his guitar.
“Great to hear ‘Old Love,' ‘Layla' and ‘Wonderful Tonight' (amongst others) live again," she added in the caption.

The setlist itself was no doubt personal to Boyd, as songs like “Layla” and “Wonderful Tonight” have long been linked to Clapton's unrequited love for Boyd during her marriage to The Beatles' George Harrison.
Boyd first met Harrison in 1964 on the set of A Hard Day's Night, sparking a romance that would place her at the center of one of music's most famous love triangles. The pair married in 1966, but their relationship eventually came to an end, and their divorce was finalized in 1977.

Clapton was a close friend of Harrison's at the time and had secretly fallen for Boyd years earlier, which led to a complicated dynamic that would later become the stuff of rock legend. After Boyd's split from Harrison, she and Clapton married in 1979 and the two divorced in 1989.
Boyd has been married to property developer Rod Weston since 2015, but her ties to two of rock's most influential figures remain part of the cultural lexicon, with love letters written around the time of their love triangle sold in a 2024 auction.

In one of the letters, which was dated four years into Boyd's marriage to Harrison in 1970, Clapton questions Boyd about her love for her husband as he also asks her how she feels about him.

"I am writing this letter to you, with the main purpose of ascertaining your feelings towards a subject well known to both of us," he wrote. "What I wish to ask you is if you still love your husband? All these questions are very impertinent, I know, but if there is still a feeling in your heart for me… you must let me know!"
