Brooke Williamson is giving fans a rare look at her life off-camera, as her son marks a major milestone.
On Sunday, April 26, the Los Angeles-based chef and reality TV star shared a carousel of photos on Instagram celebrating her son Hudson’s senior prom.
The post begins with a selfie of Williamson smiling beside Hudson, who is dressed in a gray suit with a black tie and a white rose boutonniere. Other photos capture Hudson’s date pinning the flower onto his suit, the couple posing together, and a family moment that includes Williamson and her ex-husband, Nick Roberts. The final image shows Williamson alongside Hudson and his date.

The special night comes during an exciting time for Hudson, who was recently accepted to New York University. Williamson shared the news on the April 6 episode of Bobby on the Beat, revealing she is “super excited,” though he has not yet made a final decision.
During the same podcast appearance, Williamson also shared a funny behind-the-scenes moment involving her son and boyfriend Bobby Flay.

After Flay mentioned using a rice cooker Williamson had bought him, she clarified that the Food Network star wasn’t exactly familiar with the appliance.

“You have always cooked rice on a stovetop,” she said. “You’ve never had a rice cooker.”
Williamson recalled walking him through how to use it over the phone while Hudson was nearby, and he couldn’t help but chime in.
“He was like, ‘does he not know how to use the rice cooker?’” she recalled, adding that Hudson was surprised she was dating “one of the most famous chefs in the entire world” who didn’t know how to use one.

“Literally never used a rice cooker in my life,” Flay admitted.
Williamson, 47, and Flay, 61, made their relationship public in March 2025 after previously working together on several Food Network programs, including BBQ Brawl and Bobby’s Triple Threat.
Williamson rose to prominence after winning Top Chef in 2017 and has since appeared on multiple cooking competition series, including Tournament of Champions, which she won in 2020.
