The 2026 Kentucky Derby field is officially set, with the post-position draw confirming the starting gates for 20 elite thoroughbreds ready to compete for the coveted garland of roses at the 152nd annual "Run for the Roses."
Leading the field is the early favorite, Commandment, trained by the accomplished Brad Cox. After a modest fourth-place finish in his career debut last October, Commandment has put together an impressive streak of four consecutive victories, showcasing both his speed and stamina.
